This was a very busy week for me, so I wasn't able to spend the time I would have liked to on the app, but I was pleased that with the experience and knowledge I have gathered in the past few weeks, I was able to more or less plan and execute this app without much trouble or debugging.
I would have liked to have added a "remove" option to the app (as I have in several apps in the past) but it was simply a time issue this week. One other point that I would have liked to do more with was the search function. I have included a "tag" option in the "save location" sections, but have not yet figured out how to search through a list and find AND display multiple items from one list. In the last app, I was only able to display the first found item. For this current app, I was able to run a search that would display the number of items found, but not to display these options directly. I think that I will be able to do it with a listpicker component, however. If I set the result of the search as the elements for a listpicker, it should work. This is however, more complicated than it sounds and I wasn't able to dedicate the time to figuring it out. I hope to spend more time on it soon, however.
The main change that I made was with sending messages. I was quite pleased that I was able to send them via whatsapp this time! This was one issue that I wanted to solve from the No Texting App. I also figured out how to create a link for the sms from an address. When a user enters an address in the field, there are spaces in between words of course. But to generate the link I had to replace the spaces with "+" signs. This took a bit of tinkering but in the end it worked and the "replace text" block will surely come in handy in the future.
All in all I'm pleased with the app despite the features that are not yet included!
